Seminar Information: - "Defending Your Turf"
Join Carmel Country Club’s Director of Greens and Grounds, William Anderson, CGCS, for a informative session about essential steps you can take to keep your G&G operations as healthy as your turf. Attendees will receive tips and techniques for creating, deploying and making the most of tools like “Manpower Analysis Reports, “Maintenance Standards” and “Customer Satisfaction Surveys”. Bill Anderson has built his expertise in these areas over the past 38 years helping grow Carmel’s G&G department and has valuable tips to share with operations of any size.
Format for Golf: Members only. Superintendents are strongly encouraged to team up with their assistant. Affiliate members also encouraged to invite an assistant not already committed to playing with their superintendent. NOTE: Individual entries without partners will be paired by the Carolinas GCSA.
This year assistant superintendents will be playing for a slot on the Carolinas Team that will compete for the 2013 Virlina Cup. Each assistant superintendent will play his/her own ball through the entire round and the low gross score will win the slot.
The game: Two person four-ball team. Number of flights based on number of entries.
Cost: $90 - Includes seminar, reception, golf, lunch, awards and prizes.
$65 – Seminar & reception.

Cancellation Policy: In order to receive a refund the Carolinas GCSA must be notified of any cancellations by January 9, 2013.
Directions to Daniel Island Club:
from North Charleston – take I-526 to Exit 24. Proceed to stop light and take a left. Go past the tennis stadium then take a right at next traffic light on to Island Park Drive. Stay straight through two traffic circles and through four-way stop. Take next left at two white pillars for entrance to golf club.
from Mt. Pleasant – take I-526 to Exit 24. As soon as Exit ramp ends, take the first paved road on your left. Follow to two white pillars for entrance to golf club on the left.
