Education
Your association provides a range of high-quality professional education with more than 100 hours of classes at the Conference and Trade Show each November, supplemented by an extensive program of local association seminars, as well as the annual Southeast Regional educational conference.

Continuing Education Tracking
Your association is now tracking each member’s education points, service points, and pesticide credits for NC & SC for all regional seminars, local association meetings, bi-monthly meetings, and conference and show.

Government Relations
Your association works with other allied golf associations to provide government relations counsel with access to the State House in both North and South Carolina. This service keeps your association aware of issues likely to affect golf as they emerge rather than after the fact. This proactive presence also helps us help legislators and regulators by providing solid information and research findings as they strive to make sound decisions for the good of the whole community.

Research
Your association coordinates with researchers to make sure you get the information you need by hosting regional seminars and seminars at the annual conference and trade show. The association also founded Rounds4Research.com, the annual online auction of donated tee-times, to raise money for golf turfgrass research. Since 2009 Rounds4Research and support from the local associations within the Carolinas had granted over $565,000 to Clemson University and North Carolina State University for turfgrass research.

Carolinas Green
Your association provides the leading professional journal of any regional superintendent’s association in the country. Published bi- monthly, Carolinas Green strives to provide relevant, interesting information that reflects the personality and professionalism of the membership.

Conference and Show
Your association stages the nation’s largest regional Conference and Trade Show for superintendents. The annual Myrtle Beach event brings more than 2,000 people together in an atmosphere that allows professional relationships to flourish among all aspects of the industry.

Regular Meetings
Your association stages a series of meetings across the region each year that give members the chance to network, enjoy golf and learn from high quality speakers. These meetings
provide everything from scientific learning to critical networking opportunities.

Carolinas Night Celebrations
Your association offers these nights each year during Conference and Show in Myrtle Beach, SC and during the annual GCSAA Conference and Trade Show to bring the Carolinas GCSA family together in an informal setting. These nights are extremely popular and provide an important venue for the kind of camaraderie that makes Carolinas GCSA membership so valuable.

Local Association Support
Your association offers the Local Administrative Support Program which leverages the Carolinas GCSA’s technical and administrative capacities to make local associations stronger and more effective in delivering services and opportunities to their members. Carolinas GCSA leadership also meets with local association presidents each year to help coordinate programs and better serve the needs of superintendents across our diverse region.

Membership Directory
Your association provides an annually updated listing of names and contact details for every member of the association. This directory puts each within fingertip reach of around 1,800 allied professionals across the region.

Employment Referral Service
Your association provides a link between people with jobs and those who want them. The employment referral service job listings are posted on the website and updated regularly.

Email Alerts
Your association uses the internet to provide updates and alerts on urgent matters as they arise.

Your association commands a port of call on the information superhighway with its own web site. The site offers a broad range of services including the latest news, meeting information, important links, local association contacts and meeting schedules.

Media Services
Your association offers full-time support in a range of media services from writing a press release to interview techniques. This service extends to promoting superintendent issues and interest in the media.

Bennett-Maples Scholarships
Your association extends its support to the next generation through an annual scholarship program to assist children and grandchildren of superintendents achieve academic excellence. This program is named after two Carolinas GCSA founding members.

Benevolence Fund
Your association provides a fund to assist families in times of difficulty. The purpose of the fund is to provide a death benefit in the event of a family member passing on. It can also provide aid for a sick or distressed member or immediate member of their family.

BMP Manual
Your association has published and made available a Best Management Practices for Carolinas Golf Courses Manual.  The BMP manual is not only a tool members can utilize but is also an impressive record to place in front of lawmakers, regulators and others who make decisions affecting the golf industry.
