PGP is looking for a Regional Equipment Technician to oversee all Equipment maintenance for all of their properties. This position will be a mobile position with travel to all properties under the PGP umbrella.

Responsibilities include:
• Training of equipment technicians at all properties
• Ability to accurately diagnose and repair all equipment associated with golf course maintenance
• Oversight of parts inventories and purchases
• Working knowledge of Hydraulics and electrical systems
• Develop and implement routine maintenance schedules
• Must posses the ability to manage time efficiently
• Must have a Valid Drivers License

Benefits include:
• Base salary range is expected to be $70,000-$75,000 DOE

Equipment Technician
Warrior Golf Club, China Grove, NC

Warrior Golf Club is located approximately 30 miles north of Charlotte, NC. In June 2018 the club will be converting their greens from bentgrass to ultradwarf bermudagrass.

Applicant should be familiar with repair and preventative maintenance for all turf equipment. Experience with reel and bedknife grinding and set up a must. Applicant must be knowledgeable in repairing diesel, gas, and small engines as well as hydraulic and electrical systems diagnostics. Successful candidate must be organized and self-motivated and possess the ability to work within a team atmosphere. Equipment technician will be expected to be in constant communication with both the Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Golf Course Superintendent regarding equipment status and scheduling.

Brier Creek Country club is a private country club owned and operated by Invited Clubs. The country club is located in Raleigh, North Carolina near the airport. The equipment manager reports directly to the golf course superintendent and oversees the repair and preventative maintenance program for the golf course equipment and associated assets. This program includes the diagnostics and repair of equipment, keeping records of parts and labor needed to maintain each piece of equipment, and placing orders for parts and supplies needed for equipment or service. The equipment manager properly communicates any needs or problems relating to the maintenance or repair of equipment to the superintendent. • Inspects, diagnoses and repairs mechanical issues with various golf course maintenance equipment, including, diesel, electric, and gasoline powered mower, tractors, utility vehicles, and other mechanical equipment used in maintaining the facility.

• Prioritizes equipment repair and maintenance work.

• Regulates employees' use of equipment in absence of superintendent and assistant superintendent, if needed, and performs other duties as directed by the superintendent.

Employment standards:

Assistant Mechanic

The responsibility of the Assistant Mechanic is to assist in maintaining the excellent playing condition of the golf course. The Big Cats at Ocean Ridge Plantation Golf has an opening for a hands-on mechanic to repair and maintain golf course equipment, both diesel and gasoline, including reel grinding.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Will inspect, diagnose and repair utility vehicles, rollers, mowers and other mechanical equipment used in utility work and adjust height of equipment for cutting and mowing.
• Will keep complete records on each piece of equipment, oversee the shop area maintenance, make emergency repairs to equipment on the course and work with Purchasing Director to order parts.
• May instruct and train golf course maintenance workers regarding proper cleaning and safe operation of equipment. As always, safety is a top priority for shop, operations and equipment.
• Experience with golf course equipment preferred but willing to train a knowledgeable automobile (gas and diesel) mechanic or recent grad from a 2-year program in Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology.
